The Latest on the Oil Spill

The amount of oil being collected as a result of a containment cap placed on the ruptured well last week has increased and is now up to 11,000 barrels a day, said Adm. Thad W. Allen of the Coast Guard. Federal studies have put the amount of oil spewing out of the stricken well at an estimated 12,000 to 25,000 barrels a day. As of midnight Sunday, a total of 27,700 barrels of oil had been collected.
A Second System Is Prepared
Admiral Allen said Monday that a second system was being prepared that would use pipes and other equipment installed for the failed “top kill” effort to collect oil from the well. That oil would be siphoned up to a rig, the Q4000, that is already on site.
BP Reports $1.25 Billion Spent
BP reported Monday that it had spent $1.25 billion so far on the cleanup and on related expenses.
Florida Fishing Area Is Reopened
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration opened 430 square miles of previously closed fishing area off the Florida Panhandle. The area closed to fishing now represents 78,264 square miles, approximately 32 percent of the federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico.

Plot Summary
Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The programme depicts the adventures of a mysterious and eccentric humanoid alien known as the Doctor who travels through time and space in his spacecraft, the TARDIS (an acronym for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space), which normally appears from the exterior to be a blue 1950s British police box. With his companions, he explores time and space, faces a variety of foes and rights wrongs.
Rose Tyler, a young shop assistant in a London department store, lives a humdrum and profoundly average life - until the night the shop dummies where she works wake up and try to kill her.
